As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring high culinary standards and prompt, efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present all menu items to meet high culinary standards.
  • Ensure personal and food hygiene, health and safety standards, policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Inspect and accept goods to meet required quality and notify discrepancies.
  • Maintain food handling, storage, and stock rotation standards.
  • Control portion sizes, product freshness and minimise waste.
  • Keep the kitchen clean and tidy.
  • Support Head Chef/Sous Chef in delivering required food standards and kitchen operation.
  • Comply with HR Staff Code of Conduct.
  • Wear the supplied uniform at all times during duty.
  • Demonstrate good customer service attitude to Clients, Staff & Customers.
  • Maintain a safe working environment to minimise accidents.
  • Attend training courses and company meetings as required.
  • Adapt work methods and patterns to ensure smooth operation.
  • Carry out reasonable management requests.
  • Run any kitchen section to required standards set by management.
  • Follow instructions and recommendations from immediate superiors to complete daily tasks.

Required Skills & Qualities

  • Experience working in a catering environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and progress.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge is advantageous.

Package and Working Conditions

  • Rate of Pay: £15 per hour.
  • Shifts: 2 early (4:45 am‑2:00 pm), 2 late (2:00 pm‑10:30 pm), 2 off (4 on 2 off).
  • Must provide 5 years of working history in the UK and UK address history.
  • Role will become permanent upon gaining references for a full pass.
  • Start date: 8 June 2026.
