As Staffing Manager, you will own the end-to-end staffing strategy across our venue operations, ensuring we attract, engage, schedule and retain a high-performing casual workforce that delivers outstanding service every day. We're seeking an energetic, organised and commercially minded people professional who thrives in a dynamic operational environment. What You'll Do:
- Lead workforce planning for matchdays, concerts, conferences and special events.
- Ensure all operational areas are fully resourced with talented, engaged and trained colleagues.
- Manage labour forecasting, scheduling and deployment to meet operational demands and budget expectations.
- Oversee the accurate collection, validation and submission of payroll information.
- Produce insightful workforce reports, labour analysis and staffing forecasts.
- Monitor attendance, workforce performance and staffing trends to improve reliability and reduce agency dependency.
- Build strong relationships with operational leaders, payroll, finance and external staffing partners.
- Drive recruitment and retention initiatives to maintain a sustainable and engaged casual workforce.
- Champion workforce compliance and best practice across all staffing activities.
What You Bring:
Essential
- Experience in workforce planning, staffing, scheduling or people operations within hospitality, events, stadia, leisure or other fast-paced industries.
- Experience managing large casual or flexible workforces.
- Strong knowledge of labour forecasting, rota management and workforce deployment.
- Payroll administration experience, including managing payroll submissions and resolving payroll queries.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical capability with experience using workforce management and payroll systems.
- A solid understanding of employment legislation, compliance and workforce best practice.
Desirable
- Experience within a stadium, venue, Premier League club, hospitality or large-scale events environment.
- Experience with Humanforce, SAP, Workday or similar workforce management systems.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent HR or workforce planning experience.
- Experience delivering recruitment campaigns, open days and workforce engagement initiatives.
- Previous people leadership or team management experience.
