Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to join our flagship Shell Centre account in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional looking to broaden their experience within a complex, high-profile corporate environment while working alongside senior leaders and subject matter experts.
This role offers genuine variety and exposure, supporting multiple service lines including Technical Services, Catering, Cleaning and Soft Services across one of Sodexo's most prestigious Corporate Services partnerships. What You'll Be Doing
- Provide professional health and safety advice and support across the Shell Centre account.
- Build strong relationships with operational teams and client stakeholders.
- Conduct audits, inspections and safety reviews.
- Support accident investigations and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Deliver training and promote positive safety behaviours.
- Support risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Assist with contractor management and change control activities.
- Produce reports and monitor health and safety performance.
- Support environmental initiatives and continuous improvement programmes.
- Champion a positive and proactive culture of health, safety and wellbeing.
What We're Looking For
- NEBOSH National General Certificate (essential).
- Membership of IOSH or working towards professional membership.
- Experience in a Health & Safety role within Facilities Management, corporate environments or multi-site operations.
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and best practice.
- Experience conducting audits and inspections.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
- Strong report writing and IT skills.
The following would also be advantageous:
- Facilities Management experience.
- Lead Auditor qualification.
- Food Safety qualification.
- Environmental management experience.
