We are looking for a dedicated and electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our operations team in London. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding and emergency response across the building, with a strong focus on electrical systems and equipment. You will also support mechanical and general building services maintenance as required, ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the site’s critical infrastructure. There will also be an opportunity to deputise for and cover the Technical Services Supervisor when required. Join our team and play a key role in delivering excellence in Hard FM and Technical Facilities Services. As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician you'll: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding and emergency procedures across the site, with an electrical bias. Undertake electrical maintenance and repairs across LV systems, distribution boards, lighting, generators, UPS systems, switchgear and associated electrical equipment. Support mechanical and general building services maintenance when required. Carry out electrical diagnostic checks, identify faults and complete remedial works to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime. Complete scheduled PPM and reactive works in line with SLAs, company engineering standards and Health & Safety requirements. Deputise for and cover the Technical Services Supervisor when required. Complete daily checks, statutory inspections, risk assessments and maintenance records accurately and on time. Escort and supervise external contractors and specialist subcontractors while on site. Liaise professionally with clients, attend site meetings and toolbox talks, and provide updates and reports on maintenance activities. Use CAFM systems to update job records, PPM completion and asset information. Participate in an on-call site cover rota (1 week on / 1 week off). Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and emergencies, prioritising tasks effectively to maintain site operations and safety. Ensure all maintenance activities are completed to a high standard and in line with relevant legislation and company procedures.What we're looking for: Proven experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer/Technician with a strong electrical bias. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an Electrical Trade, alongside relevant Building Services or Engineering qualifications. BS7671 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382-18). C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing would be advantageous. Strong hands-on experience with LV electrical systems, MCCs, switchboards, generators, lighting, busbars, inverters, distribution boards and UPS systems. Broad understanding of mechanical and building services systems, with the ability to carry out basic fault finding and maintenance outside of your core electrical discipline. Practical understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS). Experience using CAFM systems and good IT literacy. IOSH, CSCS Card and/or Safe Pass would be advantageous. Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices. Good written and verbal communication skills. Able to work independently, take ownership and prioritise workload effectively. Calm and professional under pressure, particularly when responding to reactive faults or emergencies. Flexible, reliable, adaptable and detail-focused, with a strong team ethic.
