At Sodexo, we're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Healthcare Estates team at Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton. This is an opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining the electrical infrastructure that supports patient care every day. Working in a live hospital environment, you'll ensure critical systems remain safe, compliant and operational while supporting the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. You'll join a skilled Estates team responsible for maintaining essential services across the hospital, where your expertise will directly contribute to patient safety, operational resilience and compliance with healthcare engineering standards. Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of electrical building services systems. Maintain and support critical infrastructure including LV distribution systems, switchgear, emergency lighting, generators, UPS and IPS systems. Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports and compliance documentation. Work closely with Estates colleagues, clinical teams and specialist contractors to minimise disruption and maintain service continuity. Assist with lifecycle replacement programmes, testing, commissioning and minor project works. Identify risks, plant condition concerns and opportunities for improvement. Contribute to a culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement across the hospital estate. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent Electrical qualification. ~Experience working within healthcare estates, hospitals, PFI environments or similarly critical facilities. ~ Strong experience maintaining and repairing electrical building services systems. ~ Good understanding of HTM standards, statutory compliance and healthcare engineering requirements. ~ Experience working within permit-to-work and isolation procedures. ~ Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and engineering documentation. ~ HTM Level 3 or equivalent healthcare engineering training. C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
