Full time Monday - Friday - 08:30-17:00 - ad-hoc occasional weekend cover may be required. Β£75,000 per annum plus our Sodexo employee benefits package.
We are looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead the delivery of technical services in one of our prestigious client IFM contracts. Reporting directly to the Technical Services Director, you will be responsible for the safe, compliant and effective management of maintenance and project activities across Harewood Avenue and designated remote sites.
This is a client-facing leadership role, combining strategic oversight with hands-on operational management. You will lead a team of technical professionals and manage subcontractors to ensure high standards of service delivery, asset performance and statutory compliance.
As a Technical Services Manager you will:
- Deliver technical excellence across all building services and assets
- Manage and motivate site-based technical teams
- Oversee subcontractors and supply chain partners
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety and statutory regulations
- Maintain engineering standards, procedures and risk assessments
- Act as part of the emergency escalation and out-of-hours response
- Provide technical advice on OPEX and CAPEX planning
- Maximise equipment availability and minimise disruption to client operations
- Deputise for the Technical Services Director as required
What we are looking for:
- Engineering qualification to NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of engineering compliance and best practice
- Proven people-management experience
- Ability to prioritise and solve complex technical issues under pressure
- Sound understanding of current health, safety and engineering legislation
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Competent IT skills, including CMMS (Maximo desirable)
