Are you a talented writer with a flair for creating compelling content and the organisational skills to keep complex projects on track?

We're looking for a Bid Writer to join our dynamic Business Development team, supporting the delivery of high-quality bids, tenders and proposals that help secure exciting new business opportunities.

This role combines persuasive writing, stakeholder engagement and bid coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both creating impactful content and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Working closely with Business Development Directors, Bid Managers and subject matter experts from across the business, you'll play a key role in developing winning submissions that showcase our expertise, innovation and ability to deliver exceptional client experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Bid Writer, you'll be responsible for producing compelling bid content while supporting the coordination and management of opportunities throughout the tender lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include

  • Writing, editing and tailoring high-quality responses for bids, tenders, proposals and presentations.
  • Creating compelling executive summaries, value propositions and client-focused content.
  • Coordinating bid plans, action trackers and submission schedules
  • Managing deadlines and ensuring key milestones are achieved throughout the bid process.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, HR, Commercial and Leadership teams to gather information and develop winning responses.
  • Reviewing submissions for quality, compliance, consistency and accuracy.
  • Maintaining bid libraries, case studies, standard responses and knowledge repositories.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance bid quality, efficiency and win rates.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong writing ability with excellent organisation and stakeholder management skills.

Essential

  • Experience in bid writing, proposal writing, bid support or a similar commercial role.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to create engaging, persuasive content.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading capability.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to tight deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Power Point.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting stadium and event or cultural destination tender submissions.
  • Experience within Business Development, Commercial, Marketing or Proposal functions.
  • Experience using CRM systems or document management platforms.
  • Experience maintaining bid content libraries and knowledge management systems.
