In this essential lone‑working role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high‑quality meals for the residents and staff in a fixed location, ensuring safe, nutritious, and welcoming environments. What you’ll do:
- Independently prepare and cook a variety of meals according to scheduled menus for residents and staff.
- Manage your own schedule and kitchen operations, ensuring meals are prepared and served on time with minimal supervision.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene in all areas, including the kitchen and dining spaces.
- Restock essential kitchen supplies like ingredients, utensils, and cleaning products.
- Communicate with site staff and other departments as needed, providing updates and ensuring smooth operations.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times, ensuring compliance while working alone.
Age restriction: must be over the age of 18+, have a valid photographic ID. Previous experience in a cooking or catering role is essential, along with a reasonable knowledge of food safety and kitchen procedures.
