- Prepare, cook and present high-quality food across the restaurant, coffee shop, hospitality and events services.

- Coordinate daily food preparation tasks to ensure restaurant, hospitality and event requirements are delivered to a high standard.
- Follow opening and closing procedures within designated catering areas.
- Monitor food production, quality, portion control and waste to support budget and profitability targets.
- Work within agreed purchasing and supply chain procedures.
- Ensure equipment is used correctly and safely and report any issues promptly.
- Take part in team briefings, meetings, training and Health & Safety activities.
- Deliver excellent customer service and respond positively to customer needs and feedback.
- Work collaboratively with the wider catering team to continually improve the food and service offer.
- 2 years' experience working as a Chef.
- Previous experience within a restaurant, hospitality or similar food service environment.
- A passion for producing high-quality food and delivering excellent service.
- Good knowledge of food safety, food hygiene and Health & Safety requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good IT skills and the confidence to use systems required as part of the role.
- The ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen environment and manage changing priorities.
- Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- A customer-focused approach and a genuine commitment to service excellence.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider catering team.
- A proactive approach with the confidence to contribute ideas for menus and service improvements.
- An understanding of food costs, waste control and working within agreed budgets would be beneficial.
- Previous experience working within a standards and compliance-focused environment would be advantageous.
