We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef to join our Sodexo team, delivering high-quality catering services, food preparation, and meal service to the highest standards. You will play a key role in creating nutritious, well-presented dishes while ensuring full compliance with strict food hygiene, health, and safety regulations. What You'll Do:

  • Prepare and cook food to a high standard, ensuring quality is maintained throughout service.
  • Maintain full compliance with Sodexo food safety, allergen, COSHH, and health & safety policies at all times.
  • Ensure food service counters are well presented and consistently monitored during service.
  • Carry out opening and closing duties, including weekend service responsibilities where required.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safe storage across all food preparation and service areas.
  • Report hazards, low stock, and incidents promptly, and support safe working practices in line with company procedures.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience working as a Chef in a busy catering, hospitality, or contract catering environment, ideally holding a Level 2 Food Safety in Catering qualification.
  • Strong ability to prepare and cook high-quality food in line with set menus, recipes, and service standards.
  • Solid understanding of food safety, allergen control, COSHH, and health & safety regulations.
  • Experience maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food presentation during service.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing workload in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
