As a Kitchen Porter for Sodexo in Clifton College, you will be a key part of the kitchen team. You will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness within the kitchen and food & beverage preparation areas. Your cheerful, can-do attitude will make you a major part of everyone’s everyday experience.
What You’ll Do
- Wash all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and equipment, as well as food service equipment.
- Ensure the following are kept clean and tidy to a very high standard:
- Floors & Walls
- Bins - inside and out
- Crushing and disposal of cardboard and boxes
- Fridges & Freezers (with assistance from chefs)
- Delivery areas
What You Bring
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others.
- Basic food-handling skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in a standing position for long periods (up to 8 hours).
- No previous work experience required.
