We're looking for a reliable and friendly General Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll support daily catering operations, help deliver excellent customer service, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

What you'll do:

  • Serve customers with hot and cold food and drinks (barista training provided)
  • Assist with basic food preparation, including sandwiches and salads
  • Clean kitchen areas, including appliances, countertops, crockery, dishes, pans, and floors
  • Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Receive and organise deliveries, ensuring stock is stored correctly
  • Monitor expiry dates and rotate stock accordingly
  • Ensure correct temperatures are maintained for hot food
  • Report any maintenance issues or damage promptly
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and protective equipment
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised workspace
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Complete tasks efficiently in line with daily schedules
