Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 10:00am
Pay Rate: £12.70 per hour

Job Introduction: We are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Store Person to join our team at the Phillips 66 Humber Refinery. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and management of stock while maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and customer service. Flexibility is essential, as you may be required to work additional hours to cover sickness, holidays, or special events.
What You'll Do:
- Receive deliveries and store items in the correct locations, completing quality checks, delivery documentation, and stock rotation in line with company standards
- Report shortages or damaged goods to management as instructed
- Carry out stock rotation (FIFO), checking use-by dates and reporting short-dated items
- Complete monthly stock takes accurately and on time
- Escort delivery drivers around site, ensuring compliance with site rules and procedures
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping in storerooms, including sweeping, mopping, and completing daily/weekly cleaning schedules
- Check cleaning cupboards weekly to ensure correct stock levels
- Follow correct manual handling techniques and use trolleys where required
- Provide efficient, friendly service to clients, stakeholders, customers, and colleagues
- Complete all required documentation and check sheets accurately
- Report all accidents and near misses in line with Health & Safety procedures
- Wear correct uniform and PPE at all times
- Ensure all equipment is safe to use and report faults immediately
- Attend job-related training, safety awareness courses, and staff safety forums as required
- Support other members of the team when needed

- Experience in cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards

- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or equivalent)
