Female Lounge Cleaner – Emirates Lounge Gatwick Airport

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated cleaner to maintain the lounge and associated areas to a high standard at Emirates Lounge Gatwick Airport.

This role involves cleaning duties across lounge seating, restroom, kitchen, and reporting any incidents.

Package

• Shift pattern: 3 early shifts 04:30‑15:00, 3 late shifts 15:00‑01:00, 3 days off each week

Responsibilities

• A. Lounge Area
• Ensure the lounge and seating area are cleaned and furnishings arranged before opening.
• Maintain cleanliness during operating hours.
• Clear and clean tables, cupboards, desks and other furniture.
• Spot‑clean cupboards, tables, desks and fittings.
• Vacuum upholstered furniture recesses.
• Dust all surfaces, fittings, frames, signage and furniture below two metres.
• Dust and spot‑clean skirting, walls, doors, paintwork, and floor surfaces.
• Vacuum carpeted areas, paying attention to corners.
• Clean, polish and sanitise hard floor surfaces.
• Sanitise telephones, computers and other equipment (photocopier, printer).
• Dust ceiling air vents.
• Empty waste bins, wipe liners and replace them when required.
• B. Restroom and Vanity Areas
• Wash and clean vanity areas, showers, and toilets using approved methods.
• Ensure all toilet bowls and showers are clean and tidy.
• Clean shower areas immediately after use.
• Replenish combs, hand towels, dental kits and other supplies.
• Top up dispensers for hand wash, lotion, shampoo, conditioner.
• Empty laundry baskets of used towels.
• Empty garbage bins regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness of cleaning stores and store equipment safely.
• C. Kitchen Help
• Operate dishwasher, put crockery, cutlery, trays, etc. through, and store clean items.
• Clean dishwasher thoroughly at end of shift.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness: sweep, mop floors, wipe counters.
• Empty waste bins, move rubbish to collection point, replace liners.
• D. Incident Reporting
• Report accidents, fire, theft, loss, damage or other irregularities to Line Supervisor or Manager.
