Sodexo Healthcare is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Health & Safety Graduate to join our team at MFT. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting the delivery of our Occupational Health, Safety and Environment strategy. Working under the guidance of the Health & Safety Manager, you will help drive continuous improvement, support risk management, and contribute to a culture of safety and wellbeing across our operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist in implementing HSE plans and strategic initiatives
- Support the development of risk assessments, SOPs, and Safe Systems of Work
- Conduct workplace inspections and hazard identification
- Coordinate HSE meetings, take minutes, and track actions
- Create analytical reports from safety data
- Support contractor control and due diligence processes
- Contribute to employee briefings, training, and development
- Promote compliance with Sodexo's Integrated Audit Management System
Qualifications
Essential:
- Graduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant SHE discipline
- Strong motivation for personal development and chartered SHE status
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Commitment to HSE management and continuous improvement
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience in soft FM safety management
- Familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 45001, 14001)
- Comfortable presenting at client forums and managing stakeholder relationships
