Sodexo is looking for a Guest Services Assistant to provide welcoming, professional support to military personnel, visitors and customers.
In this role, you'll be the face of our business, helping to deliver a safe, welcoming and efficient service across dining, retail, accommodation, reception, cleaning, events and other service areas on a Ministry of Defence (MOD) base.
From supporting food service and functions to maintaining clean, safe and well-presented spaces, your contribution will help ensure those serving have a positive day-to-day experience.

What you'll do: Dining, food service and replenishment: Prepare dining areas, functions and meeting spaces; assist with food preparation, service, presentation and replenishment; and keep service areas well maintained throughout the day.
Customer interaction: Provide professional, courteous and welcoming service to military personnel, visitors, customers, clients and colleagues across dining, retail, reception and other service areas.
Retail and caf support: Support retail and caf operations, including cash handling where required.
Cleaning and hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene by sanitising workstations, equipment, dining areas, accommodation areas and communal spaces in line with health and safety standards.
Event support: Assist with special events and functions, helping service run smoothly and efficiently.
Health, safety and compliance: Follow Sodexo policies, site rules and statutory regulations, maintain safe working practices and report hazards, faults or incidents promptly.
Teamwork, flexibility and improvement: Work closely with your team, support team objectives, work flexibly across services onsite and contribute to continuous service improvement.
