Location: Cambridge, CB2 0AA. Salary: £70,000 per annum (DOE) plus Sodexo employee benefits package. Employment type: Full time, Monday to Friday – site based (occasional travel to other sites may be required).

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Group Operations Manager to lead the delivery of profitable growth across a portfolio of client contracts. This role focuses on building strong, long‑term client relationships, driving operational excellence, and ensuring high‑quality service delivery aligned with business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the growth and development of existing and new client contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Implement business strategies aligned to client needs and organisational objectives.
  • Oversee contract performance, ensuring delivery against financial targets and service level agreements.
  • Develop and manage account and sector plans, including change management processes.
  • Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage and develop high‑performing teams, including Operations Managers and wider staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
