As a Grounds Maintenance Operative with Sodexo, you'll enhance the services of our vibrant corporate site, offering a helping hand to ensure flawless facilities operations and keep things running smoothly.
What you'll do:
- Carry out general grounds maintenance, including grass cutting, strimming, edging, hedge trimming, pruning, planting and weeding.
- Maintain landscaped areas, flowers, shrubs, hanging baskets, ponds, lakes and water features.
- Undertake seasonal duties including leaf clearance, forestry and woodland maintenance, snow clearance and gritting.
- Keep the estate clean, tidy and safe through litter picking, bin maintenance and monitoring of outdoor areas.
- Safely operate grounds maintenance equipment, complete daily checks and follow all Health & Safety, RAMS and PPE requirements.
- Provide general facilities support, including minor handyman tasks, office moves, assisting contractors and supporting site projects and sustainability initiatives.
What you'll bring:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, horticulture, or a similar role, with good knowledge of relevant equipment and safe working practices.
- Good attention to detail, pride in maintaining high standards, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit for outdoor manual work in all weather conditions; a full UK driving licence is preferred.
