As General Catering Assistant for Sodexo at Cotham Gardens Primary School, you will be contributing towards the smooth running of a fast‑paced food and beverage operation. You will showcase the kitchen supplies, presenting them in the most eye‑catching way possible, ensuring we offer the best service possible. You will work reasonable hours and enjoy public holidays, including Christmas.
What you do:
- Prepare delicious meals for our school team and pupils.
- Keep the kitchen and serving areas stocked, clean and hygienic.
- Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.
- Observe food handling and hygiene regulations.

Package description:
- £12.60 per hour
- 20 hours per week
- Working pattern: 10am – 2pm
- Fixed term contract for 9 months
- Term time only (39 week working contract paid over 52 weeks)
- Equated pay (sometimes known as spread‑over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non‑working weeks.
