What You'll Do:
- Drive a company vehicle and comply with Sodexo's driving policy and regulations.
- Deliver food supplies to various locations across the college campus.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Adhere to daily delivery schedule and meet customers time slots.
- Promote a good company image to customers and guests by using positive customer service practices.
- Accept deliveries of stock ensuring they are correct and any damage or discrepancies are recorded.
- Liaise with Store Manager, hospitality team, Executive Head Chef and Catering Manager.
- Ensure that any orders are suitably packaged ready for delivery.
- Keep accurate records of where stock is allocated around site.
- Ensure the safety and security of the stock and complete frequent and accurate stock takes.
- Report any complaints and take action where possible.
- Undertake occasional duties outside the normal routine but within the scope of the position and the departments activities.
- Comply with all company health and safety and food safety compliance rules and to report any issues.
What You Bring:
- Must hold full UK current driving licence with no endorsements.
- Experience in similar role either in a stores/ warehouse capacity or kitchen/catering environment.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and pro-active.
- Ability to work in a role that requires physical effort and perform manual handling tasks.
- Ability to work as part of a team or individually as needed.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Positive approach to learning in role and identifying own training needs as appropriate.
- Numerate and Literate.
