We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Food Service Assistant to support the smooth running of our catering services at HMRC Glasgow RC. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the kitchen, dining areas, and café, while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the wider Sodexo team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and café areas
- Complete cleaning tasks to required standards and schedules
- Ensure equipment, utensils, and storage areas are clean and safe
- Follow health & safety, food safety, and hygiene procedures
- Replenish catering stations and support basic service duties
- Receive, check, and store deliveries using correct stock rotation
- Report hazards, faults, or maintenance issues promptly
- Provide excellent customer service and handle queries professionally
- Support the team with general duties, including moving items when required
- Maintain personal hygiene and wear uniform/PPE correctly
