Cleaner – Sodexo

We’re currently recruiting a Cleaner to join our team in Glasgow. This role is ideal for someone flexible and reliable who’s happy to travel between sites and support with short‑notice cover when needed.

You’ll play an important part in keeping our client sites clean, safe, and welcoming. If you enjoy variety and take pride in your work, we’d love to hear from you.

Location

Shieldhall (base site), covering Blythswood and Onyx, Glasgow

Working Hours

30 hours per week (early shifts, backshifts, and weekends)

Salary

£12.60 per hour

Package Description

This is a flexible, mobile cleaning role covering multiple Sodexo client sites. Base location is Shieldhall. Travel between sites is required, and expenses will be covered.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning support across multiple Sodexo sites (Shieldhall, Blythswood, Onyx)
• Deliver high cleaning standards across offices, washrooms, and shared spaces
• Follow cleaning schedules and ensure equipment is maintained and stored properly
• Replenish consumables (soap, toilet roll, hand towels, etc.)
• Comply with health & safety guidelines and COSHH procedures (full training provided)
• Work closely with local teams and supervisors to ensure a consistent service

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous cleaning experience is an advantage, but not essential
• A flexible, dependable approach to work
• Willingness and ability to travel between sites as required
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
• Understanding of basic hygiene and infection control (training provided)
