About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Chef Supervisor to join our team at Devro Scotland Ltd in Moodiesburn. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate food professional to support the delivery of high-quality catering services while leading and motivating a small team. As Chef Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared and presented to a high standard while maintaining compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
What You'll Do
- Support the delivery of a high-quality food service for colleagues and customers
- Supervise and support kitchen team members during daily operations
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Ensure food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained at all times
- Monitor stock levels and support ordering processes
- Assist with financial controls and cost management
- Support training and development of team members
What You Bring
- Previous chef management or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong team leadership and communication skills
- Financial awareness and understanding of kitchen cost controls
- Basic computing skills
- Experience of menu development
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
