Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks, and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non‑working weeks. As a General Kitchen Assistant for Sodexo at Oasis Academy Skinner Street, Skinner St, Gillingham ME7 1LG, you will contribute towards the smooth running of a fast‑paced food and beverage operation. You will be responsible for showcasing what the kitchen supplies, presenting it in the most eye‑catching way possible, and ensuring we offer the best service possible. You will not work unsociable hours and will have public holidays off, including Christmas!

What You Do:
- Prepare delicious meals for our school team and pupils.
- Keep the kitchen and serving areas stocked, clean, and hygienic at all times.
- Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.
- Observe food handling and hygiene regulations.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure that all machines and equipment are operated correctly.
- Always uphold the reputation of the company.
