We currently have an opportunity for Casual Food Service Assistant to join our amazing team. This is a great opportunity for driven individuals to succeed in a fast and innovative catering facility. A need for outstanding customer focused individuals to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression. No two days are ever the same at our zoo! As a Food Service Assistant, you’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team delivering exceptional service across our vibrant hospitality outlets — including restaurants, cafés, kiosks, and special event spaces. This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on role where you’ll play an important part in creating memorable experiences for our visitors.
Main Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and hosting guests with a warm, professional approach
- Taking orders and serving food and beverages efficiently
- Preparing barista‑style drinks and other beverages
- Operating tills and handling payments accurately
- Setting up and closing down service areas
- Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
- Supporting kitchen and front‑of‑house teams as required
The Ideal Candidate:
