- Clean factory, production, office and communal areas to high hygiene standards
- Complete scheduled general and deep cleaning tasks
- Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals in line with COSHH procedures
- Dispose of waste correctly and maintain clean waste areas
- Follow all Health & Safety, hygiene and PPE requirements
- Report hazards, damage or safety concerns promptly
- Work independently and as part of the wider site team
Previous experience in a cleaning, factory, industrial or similar role - Good understanding of workplace hygiene and safety
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions
- Reliable with a good attention to detail
- Comfortable working within a busy manufacturing environment
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Desirable:
- Previous industrial or high-level cleaning experience
- Experience working within a food manufacturing or production environment
- Knowledge of COSHH and safe chemical handling
- IPAF qualification or previous experience working at height
