We’re looking for a Domestic Assistant to join our Sodexo team at Hartismere Hospital. In this vital role, you’ll help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your work will directly support health and wellbeing throughout the hospital. Working hours: 6:00 am – 9:00 am, Monday to Friday
Pay: £12.92 per hour
Location: Hartismere Community Hospital
Responsibilities:- Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, wards, communal spaces, restrooms, and other hospital areas.
- Strip and clean beds, collect used linen for processing.
- Clean surfaces, including desks, ceilings, vents, blinds, and walls, to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Perform daily tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, floor polishing, and replenishing supplies.
- Empty waste bins and manage refuse in line with hospital protocols.
- Promote and maintain a safe, healthy environment for all patients, staff, and visitors.
- Physical capability to carry out cleaning duties across various hospital areas.
- A friendly, customer‑focused attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile.
