Overview
We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead the Private Catering team in Edinburgh. The role focuses on commercial success, service excellence and event planning across heritage venues such as the National Museum of Scotland and the Palace of Holyrood House.
Responsibilities
- Identify organic growth opportunities through innovation and new initiatives across event offerings.
- Ensure client services are delivered within contractual terms and cost‑effective.
- Lead excellence in performance through coaching and drive a greater understanding of technical competence versus behavioural capability.
- Manage the team and provide guidance on operational issues to meet business objectives.
- Plan and prioritise workload and tasks effectively for self and others to maintain balance.
