Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, American Express Stadium, Village Way, Brighton, BN1 9B. Up to £30,000 pa, plus excellent bonus and benefits package. Flexibility for match days required. 40 hours per week (Fri–Sun). Free lunches, free parking.

We’re looking for a creative, commercially minded, and highly organised Event Coordinator and Designer to join our ambitious team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves events, thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys seeing their ideas come to life.

From developing an exciting public events calendar and coordinating memorable match‑day experiences to building client relationships and driving venue sales, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the reputation and profitability of one of the South Coast’s premier event destinations.

As Event Coordinator and Designer, you’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of events across the stadium and The Terrace, ensuring every experience is professionally planned, commercially successful and delivered to the highest standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Creating and delivering an exciting programme of public events, exhibitions, ticketed experiences and private functions.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth across exhibitions, celebrations, community events and corporate functions.
  • Coordinating food and beverage pre‑orders for special events and themed dining experiences.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, partners and key stakeholders.
  • Acting as the primary contact for a range of internal and fan‑focused events.
  • Collaborating closely with operational, marketing and leadership teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Producing event plans, function sheets, financial reports and performance updates.
  • Managing event budgets and ensuring events achieve targeted profit margins.
  • Supporting venue sales activity through site visits, networking opportunities and client events.
  • Maintaining accurate event management records using CRM systems and internal reporting tools.
  • Monitoring customer feedback and continuously improving the guest experience.
What You Bring
  • Previous experience in event coordination, venue sales, hospitality, conferences, exhibitions or event management.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, revenue targets or event profitability.
  • Confidence presenting ideas, hosting clients and representing the venue professionally.
  • Experience using CRM systems and event management software would be advantageous.
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including occasional evenings and weekends when required.
