Join our dedicated catering team at Birds Eye, Lowestoft, where you\’ll play a vital role in preparing, presenting, and serving food and beverages to the highest standards. What you\’ll do
- Assist with the preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverages, consistently maintaining the highest standards.
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service, including counter service and till operation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment across all equipment, service areas, and dining spaces.
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold drinks, restock vending machines, and ensure service areas are always fully supplied.
- Check and receive deliveries, accurately record food temperatures, and follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Take part in training and carry out additional duties as required to support the smooth running of the catering operation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional and approachable manner.
- Strong focus on safety, with consistently high standards of personal hygiene and presentation.
- Flexible, reliable, and positive, with the ability to adapt to varying shifts and tasks.
- Experience using tills and electronic point-of-sale (EPOS) systems (desirable).
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene, safe food handling practices, and COSHH principles (desirable).
- Ability to maintain accurate records and confidently use basic computer systems (desirable).
