We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to help us deliver this ambition. This is a highly influential role where you will work in partnership with operational teams to drive a strong, proactive safety culture, with a particular focus on food safety excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead food safety strategy, with a focus on allergen management, compliance, and due diligence
- Take ownership of food safety incident management, ensuring robust investigation, reporting, and learning
- Support operational teams to meet and exceed legislative and internal safety standards
- Drive engagement and continuous improvement through training, communication, and collaboration
- Analyse safety data and trends to identify risk and inform proactive interventions
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including external partners
- Undertake regular travel to sites, providing hands-on support, guidance, and assurance
Qualifications
- Level 4 Food Safety qualification (essential)
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- Experience in food safety within catering, hospitality, or contract services environments
- Strong knowledge of UK food safety legislation and compliance frameworks
- Experience of incident investigation and driving corrective actions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical and IT capability, including Excel
