Working alongside military personnel, you'll prepare high-quality meals, support a variety of events and functions, and contribute to the smooth running of an important operational setting. What you'll do: Prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring consistency and excellent standards at all times. Deliver meals to military personnel and support high-profile events, functions, and special occasions. Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation, ensuring full compliance with EHO regulations. Support large-scale and bulk food production while maintaining quality, presentation, and attention to detail. Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to provide an outstanding dining experience and efficient service. What you bring: Proven experience as a Chef in a catering, hospitality, or large-scale food service environment, with a passion for delivering exceptional food and service. Hold a recognised culinary qualification, such as City & Guilds 706/1 & 2, NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery, or an equivalent certification. Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, demonstrating excellent organisation, communication, and time-management skills. Experience within military, government, or contract catering environments is advantageous, as are IOSH certification and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
