What you'll do:

  • Guide patients, visitors, and staff to the correct hospital locations
  • Handle waste collection and recycling while maintaining health and safety standards
  • Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and management systems
  • Safely transport patients between wards using appropriate equipment and care
  • Deliver specimens, samples, and blood products securely across departments
  • Support with respectful transfer of deceased patients
  • Provide additional porter services such as mail delivery, pharmacy runs, moving furniture, and transporting records or stock
