The Role

We are looking for a dynamic Hospitality Driver to join our team at Wellington College, Berkshire, RG45 7PU, one of the UK's most distinguished independent schools. Situated in the heart of Crowthorne, this historic institution is renowned for its academic excellence, rich traditions, and vibrant student community. You will play a key role in delivery and collection of supplies to boarding houses and function venues delivering exceptional service.

Location: Wellington College, Dukes Ride, Crowthorne, Berkshire, RG45 7PU

Contract Type: Permanent - 52 weeks contract

Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 days

Hours: 40 hours per week

Rate of Pay: £13.00 per hour

Access to Crowthorne Train Station, free car parking on site, uniform provided

What You'll Be Doing

  • Responsible for the timely delivery and collection of food supplies and hardware to various locations within the college grounds.
  • To assist in the preparation of hot and cold beverages for delivery to various locations across site.
  • To maintain the company van both internally and externally, including completion of van checklists in line with Health and Safety requirements.
  • To act as banksman when required and in line with Health and Safety and Manual Handling regulations.
  • To manually handle all waste to include recyclable products.
  • To understand and comply with statutory health, hygiene and safety, quality standards. This includes COSHH and HACCP ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with policy and the law.
  • To maintain a high standard of dress and personal hygiene.
  • To attend meetings and training sessions as required.
  • To report any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, or damage and take action as may be appropriate or possible.
  • To carry out any reasonable request from any member of the Management team within the general scope and purpose of the job.
  • Promote a friendly safe working relationship with colleagues.

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience in a similar role/hospitality/food delivery.
  • Must have a Full UK Driver's Licence.
  • Be adaptable and flexible with working patterns when required.
