Sodexo is seeking a reliable and skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to deliver high-quality grounds and building maintenance services in line with client expectations and Sodexo standards. This role involves a variety of manual and support duties, with a focus on grounds maintenance using heavy machinery, facilities support, and safe operational practices.
What you'll do:
- Carry out scheduled maintenance of grounds using appropriate tools and heavy machinery.
- Complete building maintenance and facilities tasks as directed by the line manager or supervisor.
- Support logistical tasks, such as delivery handling, porterage, and meeting room set-up.
- Escort sub-contractors and visitors, ensuring compliance with site rules and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and report faults or defects promptly.
- Follow all Health & Safety, COSHH, and company policies at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a smart, professional appearance.
- Remain flexible and responsive to changing priorities across all service lines.
