We are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to act as a strategic finance partner to the business. This role will drive commercial decision-making, profitability, and overall financial performance across a major corporate services contract. You will provide high-quality financial insight, support operational delivery, and ensure strong financial governance.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Operational Teams and Global Strategic Account teams to drive financial performance and improve revenue, margin, and KPIs.
- Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, identifying risks and opportunities and ensuring action plans are delivered.
- Provide financial insight and challenge to Account Directors and senior site managers.
- Build strong relationships with clients and support governance meetings and commercial discussions.
- Lead critical elements of the month-end process, ensuring accurate reporting, invoicing, and variance analysis.
- Deliver clear monthly performance commentary across sites and service lines.
- Support financial performance improvement initiatives, including growth and trading protection plans.
- Track client spend, savings performance, and contract improvement activity.
- Maintain effective financial controls, processes, and reconciliations.
- Support and train operational teams on financial matters.
Qualifications
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years' proven finance experience.
- Strong commercial finance and business partnering background.
- Excellent financial modelling, analysis, and reporting skills.
- Ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
