We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Cleaning and Waste Lead to join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation.

As a Cleaning and Waste Lead you'll:

  • Lead and manage cleaning, grounds, waste and vending services, ensuring delivery meets contractual standards and client expectations.
  • Manage and develop teams through recruitment, training, communication, rota planning and performance management, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Control budgets, payroll, stock and purchasing processes to maintain operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement through audits, innovation and a strong focus on health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience leading and motivating teams within cleaning, facilities, grounds maintenance or waste management services.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage resources effectively and deliver high-quality services.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements, alongside excellent communication, IT, literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to drive service excellence, adapt to change and build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
  • Apprenticeship or professional qualification in a related discipline.
