We are currently looking for reliable, motivated Cleaners to join our Cleaning Team at the University of Greenwich, Medway Campus, helping us deliver a welcoming, safe and hygienic environment for students, staff and visitors. As a Cleaner, you'll deliver a high-quality, responsive cleaning service in line with contractual SLAs and KPIs. You'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across a variety of university spaces while working safely, efficiently and professionally at all times. What you’ll do:
- Cleaning designated areas thoroughly and within agreed timeframes, including daily, weekly and periodic tasks
- Using cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals safely in line with COSHH regulations
- Cleaning floors using appropriate equipment, including buffing machines where required
- Emptying bins and replenishing consumables such as toilet rolls, soap and paper towels
- Damp-dusting surfaces including desks, furniture, skirting boards, stair rails and communal areas
- Ensuring safety signage (e.g. wet floor signs) is used correctly at all times
- Keeping cleaning stores tidy and equipment stored safely
- Reporting faulty equipment, low stock levels and any health and safety issues
