What You'll Do:
- Carry out routine cleaning tasks at the scheduled time, following all relevant policies, procedures and COSHH requirements.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across communal areas, classrooms, offices, toilets, changing rooms and specialist spaces.
- Empty bins, collect and move refuse, and restock consumables such as soap, paper towels and toilet tissue.
- Use only approved cleaning products, equipment and materials safely and efficiently, in line with training provided.
- Undertake cleaning duties safely, using PPE and hazard signage where appropriate.
- Clean floors, furnishings, equipment, windows and mirrors to the required standard.
- Respond to ad hoc cleaning requests on site when required.
- Be courteous, helpful and efficient, ensuring excellent customer care for staff, pupils and visitors.
- Work collaboratively with other cleaning staff to maintain consistent standards across the school.
- Take reasonable steps to minimise loss or damage to property and maintain a safe working environment.

- Previous experience in a similar cleaning role, with knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, COSHH and safe working practices.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with a polite and professional manner.
