What you bring:
Previous experience in a similar Sous Chef or Senior Chef role, ideally within a busy, high-volume catering environment.Excellent culinary, craft and presentation skills, with pride in producing consistently high-quality food.Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety, with a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).Strong communication and customer service skills, with a professional and approachable manner.Good financial awareness, including an understanding of food costs, stock control, portion management and working within budgets.Strong IT and computer skills, including confidence using systems such as requirements.

What you'll do:
Lead and support the kitchen team in preparing and delivering high-quality meals for patients, staff and restaurant services.Coordinate daily food production, ensuring meals are prepared accurately and in line with agreed menus and special dietary requirements.Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene and safety, completing all required checks and records.Support effective stock control, ordering and portion management, helping to maintain availability while managing food costs.Work closely with the Chef Manager and wider team to deliver an, Microsoft Word and Excel.Good written and spoken English, with strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
