The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Bid Manager to lead the financial and commercial delivery of complex bids across Government & Energy sectors. You will act as the commercial lead on business development opportunities, ensuring all bids are financially robust, commercially sound, and aligned across technical, legal, and operational teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial modelling and commercial strategy for bids
  • Partner with Business Development, Finance, HR, Operations, and Legal teams
  • Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
  • Support contract negotiations through to award
  • Present financial insights and bid strategies to senior stakeholders
  • Manage and develop the Bid Analyst team
  • Ensure smooth handover of successful bids to operational teams

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5+ years PQE
  • Strong financial modelling and commercial bid experience
  • Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and incomplete data
  • Confident communicator with senior stakeholder experience
  • Experience in FM or PFI contracts (desirable)
