- What you’ll do
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, staff and the public, maintaining a professional, friendly and courteous demeanor.
- Manage internal security including access control, CCTV, and liaise with client security responsible for external and car park security.
- Respond efficiently to emergencies such as fires and bomb scares, ensuring occupants are fully informed.
- Provide assistance to third‑party contractors and visitors, ensuring compliance with site procedures and policies.
- Liaise closely with statutory authorities, handle incidents, and provide required information.
- Maintain continuous monitoring of site radio systems under correct procedures.
- Manage site records, Health & Safety records, incident forms and the occurrence book.
- Adhere to personal grooming and uniform requirements.
- Issue badges, maintain key control and visitor logs.
- Conduct building patrols using the Company Patrol Management system.
- Complete all required documentation professionally.
- Operate CCTV and alarm systems.
- Perform access control duties.
- Ensure building opening/lockup procedures are followed.
- Manage employee badge distribution.
- Lead fire evacuation and emergency protocols as Fire Warden.
- Hold First Aid & Defibrillator training.
- Keep the work area clean, tidy and clutter‑free.
- Undertake reasonable duties to meet business needs.
- What you’ll bring
- A valid and in‑date SIA Licence.
- Proven experience as a corporate security officer or in similar roles.
- Attention to detail, strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
- Understanding of security practices and processes.
