Overview

HR Manager – Fixed Term Contract, duration of 12 months.

Up to £50,000, dependent on experience. 40 hours per week.

Join Sodexo's Health and Care segment as an experienced HR Manager, supporting the mobilisation of a major acute NHS hospital in Central London.

You will work under the Regional HR Business Partner to lead the people agenda through the contract lifecycle phases: Mobilisation, Stabilisation, and Transformation, collaborating with operational leaders, trade unions, and cross-functional teams.

Your expertise in employee relations, stakeholder management, and change management will be essential in ensuring a seamless workforce transition, embedding operational excellence, and driving long-term transformation.

This role suits a strategic HR professional with a hands-on approach and a passion for delivering impactful HR solutions in high-pressure environments.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Lead successful mobilisation and TUPE transfer processes, ensuring seamless transition and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives; leverage HR analytics to drive performance improvements.
  • Build and sustain relationships with management, clients, and external agencies to support business growth and workforce stability.
  • Provide expert guidance on Employee Relations, including complex case management, industrial relations, and promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Drive talent management initiatives, including succession planning, leadership development, and retention strategies for key roles.
  • Facilitate effective resourcing, recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning to meet operational demands and reduce time to fill.
  • Lead performance management processes, including appraisals, calibration, and interventions based on HR data insights.
  • Support the HR change agenda by translating strategy into actionable plans, promoting best practices, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.

What You Bring

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience in HR management.
  • Extensive HR generalist experience with understanding of resourcing, talent management, change management, TUPE, and employee relations.
  • Strong analytical skills with commercial acumen, complemented by senior-level influencing and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Proven facilitation and coaching skills with experience supporting development of training functions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet strict KPIs and contractual obligations, and be well organized and responsive.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK as required, including time away from home to meet business needs.
