This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at NBCUniversal's Headquarters in London, playing a pivotal role in ensuring statutory and technical compliance across a high-profile, complex estate. As Technical Compliance Manager, you will lead statutory maintenance compliance, manage risk, and drive best-in-class standards across all sites. You'll work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and senior stakeholders, providing assurance, insight, and leadership to maintain a safe, compliant, and audit-ready operation at all times.
Responsibilities
- Lead and report on statutory maintenance compliance across the whole estate
- Hold site teams to account for statutory and non-statutory work order compliance
- Identify, manage, and mitigate statutory and operational risks
- Proactively close out actions from internal audits, external audits, and statutory inspections
- Maintain accurate asset registers, inventories, and full asset lifecycle data
- Ensure continuous audit readiness across all sites
- Maintain physical and digital compliance logbooks and ensure CAFM compliance
- Ensure policies, procedures, and initiatives are implemented to minimise operational risk and improve performance
- Provide clear, data-driven reporting to support client decision-making
- Support and challenge teams constructively, with humility and professionalism
- Achieving and maintaining 100% statutory compliance across the estate
- Providing actionable insights that reduce asset risk, liability, and cost of ownership
- Acting as a subject matter expert in technical and statutory compliance
- Delivering high-quality monthly compliance reporting and assurance
- Success measured through audit outcomes, compliance performance, and client feedback
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in statutory compliance within the built environment
- Strong knowledge of CMMS/CAFM systems and SFG20 maintenance standards
- Working towards (or holding) professional membership such as CIOB, RICS, CIBSE, or IWFM
- Confident user of Microsoft O365, with the ability to produce high-quality documentation
- Excellent communicator and presenter, comfortable engaging at all levels
- Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative, proactive, and flexible in approach
- Willingness to travel as required
