Responsibilities

  • Maintain offices, workstations, meeting rooms, collaboration spaces and communal areas to a high standard.
  • Keep
  • client-facing areas clean, tidy and ready for use throughout the day.
  • Clean desks, workplace equipment and high-contact surfaces in line with site procedures.
  • Maintain kitchenettes, tea points, vending areas and break-out spaces.
  • Ensure washrooms are consistently maintained to excellent hygiene and presentation standards.
  • Vacuum, mop and spot-clean floors as required.
  • Empty waste and recycling and ensure correct waste segregation.
  • Replenish soap, paper products, refreshments and other workplace consumables.
  • Complete periodic and deep-cleaning tasks when required.
  • Proactively monitor the workplace and address cleaning or presentation issues before they impact building users.
  • Support meeting room setups, furniture adjustments and general workplace housekeeping.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to requests from colleagues, clients and visitors.
  • Safely use cleaning equipment, machinery and products.
  • Follow all Health & Safety, COSHH, Fire Safety, Security and Environmental procedures.
  • Report hazards, defects, incidents or maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Support colleagues and other workplace services when required.

  • Good communication skills and confidence interacting with colleagues, clients and visitors.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • The ability to carry out the physical tasks associated with cleaning and workplace services.
  • A good understanding of workplace health and safety.

Previous experience within cleaning, corporate offices, facilities management or hospitality would be beneficial. Knowledge of COSHH, cleaning methods, products and equipment would also be advantageous.
