As a Retail Catering Assistant , you\’ll be at the heart of our catering and retail service, making a real difference to staff, patients, and visitors. What You\’ll Do:
- Providing a warm, courteous counter service across our cafés, shops, and restaurants
- Preparing and serving hot meals, snacks, and drinks while following portion and hygiene standards
- Restocking shelves and fridges, ensuring fresh products and clear displays using stock rotation methods
- Operating tills, handling payments, and keeping all financial transactions secure
- Delivering safe and well-presented hospitality functions for meetings and events
- Maintaining clean, welcoming spaces by clearing tables, washing up, and following cleaning schedules
- Following Sodexo\’s high standards for health, safety, and infection control
- Supporting colleagues, attending training, and acting as a buddy for new team members

What You Bring:
- Experience in catering, retail, or customer service
- A friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
- A strong focus on hygiene, safety, and delivering great service
- Flexibility to work across different areas of retail catering
- A positive attitude and a passion for helping others
Desirable (but not essential):
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
- NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service
