Responsibilities
- Receive, store, and rotate beverage stock in the cellar area in line with delivery and inventory procedures.
- Organise and maintain beer, cider, soft drinks, and other stock in a clean, safe, and efficient manner.
- Prepare and distribute kegs, gas, and other bar supplies to stadium bars and kiosks before and during matchdays.
- Connect and change kegs, gas cylinders, and dispense equipment safely and correctly.
- Ensure cellar and storage areas are kept clean, tidy, and compliant with health & safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to supervisors or management.
- Assist with stock counts, audits, and deliveries as required.
- Support bar teams by ensuring timely replenishment of products during busy service periods.
- Follow all food safety, licensing, and health & safety regulations at all times.
- Safely operate manual handling equipment such as cages, pallet trucks, and trolleys where required.
- Dispose of waste, empty containers, and recycling materials appropriately.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cellar setup and secure storage of stock.
- Report any equipment faults, leaks, or safety hazards immediately.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced stadium environment with large-scale stock movement demands.
- Maintain a professional, organised, and safety-conscious approach at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of stock rotation, storage, and basic inventory control principles.
- Physically fit and able to lift, move, and transport heavy kegs and stock safely.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume stadium environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, matchdays, and large-scale events.
- Strong awareness of health & safety procedures, especially manual handling and safe equipment use.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a wider bar and catering team.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail when managing stock and deliveries.
- Calm and efficient under pressure during busy matchday operations.
- Willingness to learn cellar systems, dispense equipment, and stock processes.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with bar and catering staff.
- Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic.
- Able to follow instructions and work to operational procedures accurately.
- Previous experience in a cellar, bar support, warehouse, logistics, or stock handling role preferred but not essential.
