We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Food Service Assistant to join our corporate catering team. The role involves supporting food preparation and service, maintaining high hygiene standards, and delivering an excellent customer experience, including independent weekend breakfast service.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve food to a high standard
- Deliver weekend breakfast service independently
- Maintain cleanliness across kitchen and dining areas
- Complete food safety and hygiene checks
- Support salad bar preparation and vending machine replenishment
- Provide professional customer service
- Follow all food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures
- Experience in catering, hospitality, or food service
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
- Reliable, organised, and able to work under pressure
- Food Safety Level 2 qualification
- Corporate or contract catering experience
