This is a hybrid role based in Cambridge, requiring three days per week in the office and two days working from home, with regular travel to London and Luton. We are looking for a Communications, Events and Administration Coordinator to support the delivery of employee engagement, communications and community initiatives across key client sites in Cambridge, London and Luton. This is a varied and fast‑paced role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, creating engaging content and supporting the successful delivery of events and communications activity. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping to create a positive employee experience while supporting the Communications & Engagement team and wider leadership team with coordination and administrative support.

Content Creation & Communications

  • Create and distribute engaging communications across multiple channels including email, presentations, internal social platforms and team briefings
  • Support the production of promotional materials and engagement content
  • Manage communication distribution lists and shared mailboxes
  • Maintain filing systems and communication collateral within MS Teams
  • Ensure consistent use of templates and branding

Events & Engagement

  • Coordinate and support onsite employee and community engagement events
  • Assist with event logistics including venues, suppliers and operational delivery
  • Support event communications and promotional activity
  • Assist with post‑event reporting and feedback
  • Act as an ambassador for volunteering and employee value proposition initiatives

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Sodexo South Leadership Team and Communications & Engagement Team
  • Schedule meetings and support the preparation of presentations and reporting materials
  • Support employee reward and recognition programmes
  • Maintain organisation charts and internal records
  • Track budgets and expenditure where required
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working

  • Methodical with strong attention to detail

  • Adaptable and customer focused
  • Willingness to support events outside of normal working hours when required
  • Video editing experience
  • Experience within Facilities Management or biopharmaceutical environments
