Join Sodexo as a Business Intelligence Administrator in Scotland. This role supports the Business Intelligence Manager with administrative operations, compliance assurance, and data reporting.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the process for prisoner complaints and organise the Internal Complaints Committee.
  • Coordinate the incident report process, ensuring all actions and outcomes are addressed and recorded.
  • Coordinate local prisoner property compensation claims.
  • Collate and ensure data and information for various daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
  • Assist with handling all requests for information under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004, and Data Protection Act 1998.
  • Monitor compliance for the prison records system and CMS.
  • Take minutes at management meetings.
  • Support the maintenance of archive store(s) in line with all relevant policy and the Data Protection Act.
  • Monitor all audit action plans and provide regular updates with outcomes.
  • Provide relief cover for other administrators as required and undertake duties that contribute to the effective operation of the prison.

Ideal Candidate

  • Essential
  • IT literate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Visio, and Outlook.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Excellent numerical, investigative, and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and report on data and information.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role.
  • Competent in all aspects of administration, including minute taking.
  • Desirable
  • Previous experience working in a custodial environment.
  • Working knowledge of relevant criminal justice/prison legislation, standards, and the wider criminal justice system.
  • Previous experience working in a compliance role.

Package

£24,570 per year.
